How to avoid website made for mobile disappear from normal Google SERP? You might have made a website called https://mail.google.com/mail/x/ and another one for normal web mail.google.com …. how do you make sure that Google understand that both are for different media and take care of it without considering one to be duplicate content.

See if you search gmail at http://www.google.com and http://www.google.com/m, you will see one version of it. How can we make it happen?

Also you must have noticed the new mobile search count at new Adwords keyword suggestion tool.
